Agreed...basically a hundred warmup laps and then it starts to get interesting...but at least it DOES get interesting at the end (unlike some other tracks). I was kind of dissappointed in Tony for having to complain in victory lane - just spray the liquid, mention your sponsors and thank the fans for showing up...plenty of other times available to get your digs in at nascar.

Otherwise...the peloton behaved well for the first 2/3rds of the race....great win Tony!!!!

I see a lot of people giving it a low rating and I might have agreed if I watched it on TV. Since this was my first time at a restrictor plate race I loved every second it!

Good for you EI2IC . You will find that there is an element on this board that criticize every Nascar race . You are entitled to your opinion . Stick to it .

I just finished watching the Indycar race. My Christmas weekend just got even better. I could not have possibly asked for a much better racing weekend then this. Incredible :D
 
Rate the Race:

Any Destructor Plate Race gets an automatic 4 point deduction from me - just for being a Destructor Plate Race. So the BEST score from me would be a 6. But THIS monstrosity gets even greater deductions for the level of carnage.

Race Rating: a Generous FOUR
TV Rating: SEVEN Mainly cause IT AIN'T FOX!!
