RATE THE RACE: Dover

I also see that it doesn't say he could have pitted in that situation. Is it a case of pit at your own risk, or that you aren't allowed?

The friggin' media sucks at covering the sport. Not many have even mentioned Penske working on a more efficient fuel pickup at the start of the year. It was a story at the time, because Kez and AJ fell out during 4 or 5 races because of it. Why isn't anyone talking about how it's now paying off? He went 7 laps more, and faster, than anyone else. then he does 5 minutes of burnouts, and still has gas left. That's gotta mess with some heads for sure. Big story, no mention. Jr on the pits is also a big story.

I'll have to go back and watch again.

I still jump back to not making the rules available. It can be found for any other sport. People saying that it's because rules change all the time is complete BS. This is the perfect example that could be easily read and understood if t were there for us to see.

I think Keselowski had his roll cage connected to the fuel system and is storing the extra fuel there. o_O Sacrificing safety for wins.

thanks dpk. nascar inc is frustrating sometimes.

GTG. Posting is too frustrating today. It takes 3 or 4 tries every time. Fury is looking at it.

Wow, can't believe some of the ratings. I gave it a 2. When basically 8 cars are the only ones with a shot to win the race for 340 of the 400 laps and only 11 lead changes with only two being on the track, that's not much of a race. I know the circumstances made it difficult with so many drivers getting caught a lap or more down.
I enjoy the racing and there was a hell of a lot of that back in the pack for position and the free pass, jostling, bumping, you name it. I watch all of the cars not just the front runners or my favorites, thats why the race, in my opinion, was a 9.

Kinda funny, we get results from Dover reminiscent of the good ol' days. Many cars a lap or more down, dominate cars, little passing, blah, blah, blah. Still somehow we talk about how the racing isn't as good today as it used to be. We kinda got a taste of the good ol' days yesterday.

Let me reiterate, I like automobile racing, I have always liked automobile racing, and I hope I will always like automobile racing and no one on here or anywhere else has heard me say a negative word about the quality of the racing. Any football, baseball, basketball Etc. game is automatically a 1 or 2 in my book but any race on tv is a 6 to 9, mostly 8 or 9 mainly because I am happy to have a race to watch, but when I'm there it's always a 9.

Can't wait for the ratings next week. Four wide racing ,every car on the lead lap with an equal chance to win.Door handle to door handle, should be a lotta 10's. Not.
