Rate the race - Fontana

It wasn't necessarily a fuel mileage race as in the past, there were some passing, pushing and shoving, so I'll give it a 7.5 for the race

But a 10 for the winner!

Most of the race was boring, but the finish was awesome. So I'd give it a 7 also.

10 for Jimmie though. :D

I can't rank this snooze fest better than a 5. They reeeaaalllyyy need to look at all the empty seats, and the boring ass racing (or lack thereof). I can't even watch the race it's so boring. Every time I change the channel back to it, there's 1 or more seconds between every car.

I will give it a 7 because I thought for a California race it was extreamly good. There was racing everywhere

up till the last 65 laps I will say a 2

the last 65 laps I am giving an 8 (it had its exciting parts not knowing what the weather would do, and of course RcR did great)

From what I saw of it, I'd give it a solid 7. Best California Cup race I've ever seen.

I just wish Harvick would've won but I had JJ and Sliced Bread in fantasy so it was a good day for me.

Agreed, looked like a ARCA race crowd at best. More fans were at the very last Rockingham race than was out there watching today. Pathetic!!!
Lets build a track on Long Island!!!:sarcasm:

and do they not have trash cans???????I bet that's why Bowyer was overheating.

I was watching this exciting event @ Fontana until I found out Olympic Curling was on. It was great until Norway took the lead. It seems like they win every year!

Actual race rating = 7.5

Subtract 2 for another Jimmie Johnson win.

Final result = 5.5

Yep i agree don't where you can get off giving this race anything less than a 6, there was a lot of 3,4, and even 5 wide racing at times. I'd be more than willing to bet if Fox didn't focus so much at the front all the time some of your opinions would change. I still think that this track should only get 1 date though based on the attendance.

I agree, I really think they should go back to The Rock.

I only saw the last 45 laps, but what I saw was at least a lot better than Daytona. Have a mentioned I hate plate "racing"? I'd much rather see a finish like we had yesterday where there were 3 cars in serious contention in the last 10-15 laps or so and driver skill and not the luck of being in the right line of traffic determined the winner.

From what I saw, I'd give it an 8.

I'm not the only one that rates curling over Fontana:D

Have you seen the "crowds" at the ARCA races at Rockingham?

Epic championship battle between Lofton and Kligerman and they had, maybe, 2,000 people in the stands.

On another note, I think a lot of you are rating this race low simply because Johnson lucked his way in to VL (again). I thought it was a really good race from what I saw of it.

Not bad for a California race. I'll give it a 7.

Had some slow spots, but when was the last time we saw a battle like that in the closing laps at Auto Club?
