Rate The Race: Kansas 1

I really feel for Martin truex. That guy earned it and his crew let him down - if you ever need to prove to someone that this is a team sport show them this race.
 
8 would have given it a 9 if Truex would have won. Gotta get that monkey off his back.
 
4. Rodden and his stupid pit strategy let Kahne down. Again.

Leave the brick tires at home. Find something that falls off and creates some action on track. Make these boys work to conserve tire wear.

Hey 78 crew, you guys suck. You owe your driver one big time.

8.5, good race but predictable result.

Hard to watch races like this when you have a driver (Kyle Busch) who is so far superior to everyone else in the field. Seems like any time a race is good, he wins.

Seen better. Seen worse. The leader walked away time and again. It brought back some very bad memories!
On a good note......Way to go Blaney and Woods!!! Solid!
 
Solid 8. One point deducted for NASCAR throwing frivolous, one point deducted because the greatest driver ever won again, .5 deducted because of tires, but .5 added because Blaney had a top 5.
 
6.5 as it was better than prior Kansas races but was still dominated by track position/clean air. It was no surprise that the 2016 aero rules (with softer tires) that have worked so well all year would struggle to provide great racing at Kansas. A few more years age on the asphalt may be what is needed.
 
I wanna say the race was a 5, pretty snoozy. The end of the race and the winner boosts it up to an eight for me.
