RATE THE RACE: Kentucky

Everyone is talking about the end of the race, but I really enjoyed the beginning as well. Even though the middle was average, I'll rate this race higher than I usually rate cookie-cutters and give it an 8.

7.25

It had its moments. The racing for most of the day wasn't as good as it could be, but it was decent. The last fifth or so of the race was pretty good.

I have no respect for anyone who supports the trd crap. That goes for all the drivers owners and crew members. They should all be ashamed of themselves for being traitors. He'll that goes for NASCAR even allowing trd to come in to the sport

you sure this isn't Jack Roush? hey bud we do have the ABT brotherhood. Anything But a Toyota. I'm with ya dude. They won the race but they are losing the battle.

May I ask how they are traitors?

I agree. I thought the first 1/4 was excellent. It dropped off a little then picked back up. The ending and 'winning by air' is getting damn old to watch. It's frustrating to take the time to watch a race which is decided by something we can't even see.

Jeez, I have lost all hope of Brian getting his head out of his ass and letting 'stock' cars race only as fast as they can go without all the aero sheet. Only then will we get full contact racing and new tires that make a difference.

I only caught about the last third of the race but from what i saw it was only a 5. Other than Jimmie spinning it was pretty much get the lead and then run away from the field. The Gen6 car was supposed to make for better racing up front particularly on the 1.5's but that certainly hasn't been the case.

Should I leave the room? ;)

Anyway, I'll give the race an 8. Better than your typical 1.5 mile cookie cutter race.

Kyle said in his interview that he thought they got the left side tires wrong, probably had a little something to do with it. They can screw with the cars all they want they aren't going to eliminate the aero B.S. at high speeds.

well some of us in the ABT brotherhood are more radical then others. I won't buy one just because Kenseth won today.:)

I'll give it an 8. Was a pretty good race today in my top 5 of best cup race of the year.

The radio guys were making it sound like it was a 10.....Then I got home and turned on the tv....Then reality took it down to a 6

I been sayin this, the radio guys do a better job with race coverage. IMO , I'd rather listen to them all day than most commentators on any network.

opps almost forgot I'll give it a 9. purely based on the ending.

7 is best I can go...it was decent at best and won by the most boring man in NASCAR

7. Good race. Although at this point I would rather see anybody but Kenseth win, considering it seems like he's the biggest threat to win the title, and I really don't like him. People who call JJ vanilla obviously have never seen a Matt Kenseth interview... zzzzzz.

7.5

Rating of race does not include whining by "Five Time" Jimmie, one of the greats in the sport, about how Matt screwed him over on the restart. And WOW! did he ever make a strong run toward the front as the laps wound down.
