Rate the Race - Las Vegas

I give it a 7.5, which is good for me for a 1.5 mile. I enjoyed the Atlanta race better, but every race can't be great.
Great run for Truex today, he is going to win sooner or later this year, I wouldn't be surprised if he won at Dover

6/10 Wasn't awful.
10/10 For Truex and Allmendinger's stellar runs.

I bet they are just fine with the new changes and A.J. with a 20, 7, and 6th place finishes with a really low buck team..fantastic effort from that bunch. Highest in the points ever for Furniture Row. That's healthy for the series

I'd give it a 10 . Loved that Truex and AJ were up there . Vickers had a good return . Hamlin and Newman , my favorite chase drivers did great too. I was lucky enough to get Jeff in Spike's pool , that is a kiss of death for any driver.

4. Nice to see some other guys up front... except for the very very front when the checkered flag dropped.

I think some of you are still in Winter Recovery Mode... if this was a mid-season race ,the average rating would hover around in the 2.5 range.

Of course I'd rather watch racing than be at work, but when I see ratings this low, it makes me feel better knowing that it wasn't my weekend off work.

Vegas is the worst track in NASCAR in my opinion. I think Phoenix, Fontana and Kansas are the next worst. At least they had really good crowd attendance today though.

Kansas may be boring, but that and Texas are the only two tracks currently within a weekends drive of me. At the same time though, I'll likely be spending too much on races one I move to NE Tennessee. I'd be lost if I lived in Montana...

Fontana has produced grade A racing for the last 4 years now.

7. I enjoyed the race. The worst NASCAR race is better than Prime Time TV on any night. If Carl would have stayed off Kasey, and Kasey got in the top five or challenged for the win.......shoot..........a solid 9.5!

I never have high expectations at Las Vegas, but even so, I was hoping the new package was going to make a difference. I say a 6. There were a few good minutes of passing (in the lead, where I'd actually see it on TV), then it would get strung out. Of course, Harvick had an extremely good car, so it would be hard to pass him anyway. On the other hand, AJ and Truex had good runs. I just don't see a big improvement in the racing so far this season. It wasn't bad last year.

7.5. Green flag stops, Gordon moving up from the back, Edwards owning up to his mistake, Kahne giving him some payback. Would have been better if Kevin hadn't been so dominant, but even that's fun to see -occasionally-.

And Carl Edwards admitted to a mistake and took responsibility. New team, new attitude.
I remember a time when Carl Edwards admitted an incident was his fault and then he went out on the track on a mission to take out Keselowski. IMO take anything Carl says with a grain of salt.

Kept me entertained all afternoon. Watched my guy run up toward the front all day. Great to see his post race interview too. 'The only thing that matters is winning.'

I caught part of the Xfinity race (the end was pretty good). It looks like there are some good drivers coming up, I saw some examples of good car control.
