Rate The Race: Las Vegas

Good to see a Toyota dominate. Let's give it an 8.

Nice competition for sure...really good parody as the 24 42 have been super fast too. My heart broke when the 2 had its issue. But my Avalon in the Garage is holding her tongue out at my explorer and Stang right now....haha.

The pressure's on Chevy now....only manufacturer left with an 0-fer.

And they can't count on Harvick's automatic Phoenix win this year. :p

Hope I can count on it......It feels good to finally have more than 2 bullets in the gun.

First TRD victory of the year! Warrants a 267 trillion on a scale of 1-10! Hell yes!!!!!!

I'm pleasantly surprised at how enjoyable this season has been so far. The stage format isn't ideal, but it hasn't been awful. I think the lack of debris cautions (have there been ANY yet this year?) is what's more entertaining than anything.
I was thinking about that last night. I never bought into the 'bogus cautions' conspiracy, but the lack of yellows in this still-young season is making my question my position.

Can't give a number but...Harvick blowing a tire. Serves him right for driving a furd.:)
What's up with HMS? Chase 3rd, :pbjtime:the only HMS car in the top 10.

Truex wins, :pbjtime:
BK sinks like a rock.
kb and jolo get in a slap fight and both lose!!

9 Truex wins, Hendricks cars sux, excitement even after the race, very entertaining.

Entertainment factor of 9.78, areo still make too much of a difference, must deduct 2 points for an overall rating of 7.78

To me, it's clear that Nascar has been inconsistent with the yellow flag, and some of them are questionable. So I believe there are bogus cautions. I also believe some who are obsessed with caution flags use the "bogus" label far too often.

I speculate, based only on a hunch, that stage racing is the end product of Drivers Council initiatives to get rid of bogus cautions. Three races doesn't establish a solid trend, but I'm hoping for 36 races.

Pretty boring. I'll give it a 5. However, what went on in the pits after the race was hilarious and deserves a 10.:lol2:

Unfortunately, there was a debris caution about half-way through the 3rd stage of the Atlanta Cup race.

6 for the race. The stages helped a little. After a few green flag laps there wasn't much passing. I watch Larson and my wife watches Newman and on those green runs their positions never changed. The so called fight didn't mean much to me.
