RATE THE RACE: Loudon I

8.5 great action everywhere. Most of the race I was thinking about how cool it must have been live, about 3 and a half solid racing lines in the corners at some points. I also enjoyed how annoyed EVERYONE was. Summertime racing, gotta love it.

and F**K yeah Brian Vickers and MWR!
 
Brian Vickers was the first winner from North Carolina since Dale Jr. won at Michigan last June.

Boy, NASCAR sure has changed.

For sure.

Since competition began in 1949 there have only been three seasons North Carolina-born drivers didn't win a Cup race - 2007, 2010, and 2011.
 
Man, this race went perfect for me. One of my favorite drivers won, Almirola got a top 5, Kyle got a top 5, Jimmie did decent (he has such a big championship lead I really only am sad if he crashes), Brad K and Kasey Kahne jumped back into the top 10 in points and Tony ran out of gas! If only Kurt Busch didnt wreck...and TNT coverage wasnt ending...
Also for all the people saying that Aarons doesnt want Vickers blah blah blah...think they want him now? ;) Convenient that they happened to sponser him for this race.
But I'm getting off subject:
Racing itself: 7 (it seems that a lot of race that previously bored me to death like Cali and Loudon have been great this year)
Drivers I like doing well: 10
Coverage: 9 (they went out with a bang all right)
TNT leaving: -1000000
Tony Stewart running out of gas: 10000000
All the debris caution for little/fake debris: 3 (would be lower if it actually effected the race a whole lot.)
