Rate the Race: Martinsville II

Give it a 9.

Good short track racing. I know this won't make any difference as NASCAR wants to keep as many teams on the lead lap as possible, but do wish they would quit throwing cautions when a guy spins and gets going before the lead cars come around again. Other than that, good racing. NOW, if only NASCAR would have four road races, all different venues, ten races or more on tracks 3/4 mile or less .....................(sigh) ...... and throw in a couple of dirt tracks ...............;)

After a couple laps at Martinsville there is no empty space on the track. That's why they throw the caution in that situation. Safety.
 
I say 8. Would be higher if the upper lane came in.
2 for results. Just never have been able to get on board with Gordon.

No big one? Tell that to Hamlin, Kahne, Almirola, Truex, and others. It may not have been a conventional big one, but its the kind of big ones that occur at short tracks.

Kahne purposefully slowed Kenseth down for Gordon. That's pathetic.

Hell he called Danica a "derelict" ------------- who says stuff like that :unsure:

Man do I want a Cup!!

The new trophies are just way too nice looking.

I noticed that Matt's trophy has the Roush Racing name attach to it. That"s silly.

The championship is an individual trophy so the owner shouldn't bask in the glory.

Glad they got rid of that now.

Mr. Roush supplied him with the cars to win the thing so I think some credit is due. It's a win for the driver & the organization.

I would agree with that if he didn't get his own owner championship trophy.

And I did said compared to the new trophy.

Is like saying the old cars are safer than the new ones. These are things we know.
