Difference between stability & strength, and cardio & finess ;)
What about an hour of practice and 3, 45-minute motos in one day?
You realize that soccer is just running around chasing a ball, right? Motocross is wrestling a 230lb. motorcycle through corners, whoop sections. through the air, etc. at speeds approaching 80mph.
The two sports are hardly comparable in terms of physical conditioning.

Just chasing a ball around? Wow ha. The biggest understatement of the sport Ive heard, probably because you know little to none about it. I respect the physical fitness of motocross racers as much as I respect my sport. But its 2 separate types of being "in shape".

Ok. Explain the physical requirements necessary to play soccer. Any arm strength/use? Any implement control?
When I raced, I had a trainer and worked out for four hours a day. I was on the bike for at least 25 hours per week, not counting sanctioned practices or races. What exactly does a soccer player physically endure in a soccer game? Do they have the ball the whole time? In motocross, you have the motorcycle the whole time. 3-moto events include 3, 45-minute races. How long do soccer matches last?

 All the best athletes in America play football, baseball, basketball. Soccer is a complete afterthought
Baseball? Athletic? Hahahahahan nah. The most they run is 90 feet from base to base with minutes in between running again. Its popular, but its a focus chess like game. Quick reaction times and upper body training. Football & basketball - yes. Soccer is an after thought bc its not popular. It is 100% non-stop for 2 hours. Unlike any other sport.

The most physically grueling sports are mma and boxing. The training involved in them is absolutely brutal
MMA and boxing matches are not 45 minutes long without rest. I have trained in boxing and I've trained for motocross. There is no comparison.

Yeah post a blog as a credible source  Brah nobody is arguing that its not demanding. Just saying its a different type of demanding.

Watching it may be a bore, but playing it is completely different.
Read and educate yourself before you discredit the source.
Soccer involves running around without holding/carrying/touching anything.

**** man, just trying to open your eyes. I don't need to win.
My eyes are opened enough. Opened at watching the world cup. I must have missed the world motocross tournament :idunno:

I really wish youd not discredit something youve never trained for.

Ok, you have a point, I never played soccer.
In school, I played short-stop and left field in baseball. I was a running back in football. I also ran track; 50yd., 100yd. hurdles, 440, 880. I also boxed. I probably could've lettered but I never GAF about ball sports.
At the same time I raced motocross. I turned Pro at 15, I had a dedicated trainer, 4 hrs./day for 3 years, that concentrated on strength and cardio. I raced at the L.A. Coliseum in 1979 in a sportsman class, before turning Pro.
Motocross was BY FAR the most physically demanding sport that I ever participated in or trained for. It also took a toll on me. I turned Pro when I was 15, We didn't have podium finishes back then but by today's standards, I would have had 300+ podium finishes (1st-3rd.) I've had three knee surgeries, 4 broken arms, a separated clavicle, broken collar bone, broken ankle, bruised bladder, stitches in my lower lip and left leg, C3 compression neck fracture and 6 major concussions (with amnesia.) I won every hour+ endurance race that I ever entered.
But.........you want to argue soccer.

Didn't watch the race but I would rate it 6/10 based on the finishing order.

I think 'ol Chex mighta won this round after all.
Hell, I can't sneak up on anyone anymore. I sound like a bowl of Rice Krispies for the first hour I'm outta bed in the morning.
I got a bottle of 600 Flexeril on my nightstand, but hell. I'm the winner :XXROFL:

Gotta be the resident forum badass huh bobby? ;) Well I can say that Im not horrible at my sport & Ive stayed in peak condition since highschool & have only received a few broken foot bones & a concussion on the field. You changed the argument from physical fitness to danger. Is motocross more dangerous than soccer? No ****. Again I restate - nobody was arguing that soccer is more physically demanding than moto. They have 2 separate types of demands on the body. I can say with confidence that a motocross racer cannot get up & run 3 miles, warm up for an hour & then play collegiate soccer for 2 hours on any given weekend. While a soccer player cannot obviously take the beating of a motocross race.

Different demands. Soccer is a cardio & finesse demanding sport. Motocross is a strength & impact demanding (from what you make it out to be).

Saying soccer isn't physically demanding or that is requires no skill is just as foolish as somebody who says that NASCAR racing is just driving in circles for a few hours.

The hardest thing a soccer player does is take a ball to the face. They kinda like a porn star that runs around.

I also raced with Jeff Ward, Rick Johnson, Scotty Burnworth, Steve Schmitz, Jimmy Weinert, etc. First time I met Jeff was at the world Mini Grand Prix at Racing World.
Maybe you've heard of these "athletes."
I also raced with Flying Mike Brown. If you ever want to see the most horrific crash under a truck trailer look that up.
I had semi-privateer sponsorship from U.S. Suzuki through Pesky's Suzuki in SoCal.

I chose what was relevant.
Takes away from the physical performance... Any middle aged mom who has trained for 2 weeks can run a 5k. Takes a certain breed to run a timed 5k or run several super stadiums before the hour warm up session & then play at a collegiate level for 2 hours. Then come back the next day for 2 a day practices. We have guys come out from the track & football team all the time to run & train with us in our conditioning phase to keep in shape for the season & every single one of them get burned by the end of the session by us. There is no stopping until its over. This is just the soccer workouts. Im sure if our team went to train with some pro motocross guys we'd get upstaged by some of their workouts too. Again - different type of physical strains.
