I'm gonna go a 7. Some good racing from 2nd on back, but the outcome was never really in question.

Solid 7 as well.

Good racing at the end.

To me the race did get a little bland in the middle so I'll go 5. If the entire race was like the final 30 I'd be more pumped.

Race: 8.5
Winner: 10

Great race, great crowd, and looks like that extra spoiler did pretty good. We'll really find out how it does at Vegas next week on that 1.5er.

Good race. 8. The 4 car was just too much.

10

Mother Nature.
Tailgating.
Home cooking.
The flyover.
Chevy checkers.

No complaints here.

Threw out the two top and two bottom ratings and the average race rating for us is a respectable 8.1565. Good race.

10. Amazing that the 4 team has been fast all winter with the new set ups, came in to Phoenix, dominated everything, and took the trophy home. That is what racing is all about--the fastest SOB takes home the goods. Boom for the 4 fans! Congrats! ....and to think that a Hendrick satellite team has a better handle on the new ride height set up stuff than the mother ship. Fascinating.

5 and being generous. The top 10 was basically the same the entire race. 10 for my nap though :partytime

8 good racing. Harvick just had a great set up. Jr's car seemed to be good on long runs, unfortunately for him they had multiple restarts at the end. Logano was good on those restarts, he just had to battle Jr to get to Harvick, which allowed Harvick to get away a little on both of them.

7.. Too bad no one had anything for Harvick. Would be higher if someone did.

I was impressed with the fly-over to start things out. Harvick and his new team nailed it. Jr is continuing where he left off last year but he seems like a different driver so far this year. Overall it was a pretty good race. It was one of those races where if you hit the setup you did well and if not well....

It was a hell of a race. Good from start to finish. I don't see how anyone couldn't have enjoyed it. Harvicks the man and nobody had anything for him but the racing was good all over the track behind him.
It's fun to see keselowski with his head out of his ass and Joey burning it up. Jr and Gordon seem to have new life and Edwards seems hungry (for more than subs).
The rookies are struggling but some good stories are developing there and also the Danica experiment is interesting.
Overall, great start to a new year and I, for one, am more excited and invested than I've been in awhile.

7/10. No one had anything for Harvick all day, but the racing back in the pack was decent, especially during the last couple of restarts (best pass I've seen Jeff Gordon make in years).
