Rate The Race: Pocono 2

Ending with a long green run, I will take it.

I cant go higher than a 6, nothing to do with Kyle winning, but the race, and NBC was just not good this weekend.

7. pretty typical for Pocono, I like the track but this is the type of racing it delivers...

I'll go with a 6. The race wasn't entirely bad.

Towards the end, there was a 3-way battle for the lead (then second). There was also a lot of interesting pit strategy.

896 gazillion. Kyle wins. All 6 of my TRD powered Camrys in the Top 10. Bliss!

I am sure that there will be a lot said about this race and this day, but I will tell you this....there is nothing more satisfying in my sporting world than when my TRD Toyotas run well, and Kyle Busch wins. This is a great day! 100 Cup wins for Toyota and 400th overall! Epic. Love this.

7. I might have gone higher or lower if I'd seen more, but the guys I was with checked in on the golf tournament frequently.

7.5 I thought it was enjoyable. Pretty good driving on Kyles part.

7.5

Third race I've attended this year and I think it was the best. Busch had the field covered like he did in June but this time he finished the job. I'm by no means a Kyle fan but he was so due to win. Today just happened to be the day. He earned it by charging from 4th or 5th to first under green. I expected the 78 to at least make a run at him the last 15-20 laps but it never materialized. I think I got one more race in me this year, just not sure where....

Give it a 3 for me. Field was too stretched out most of the race, with very little opportunity for other cars to gain positions.

4 as I am not a fan of Pocono and I didn't feel the race was very entertaining but to all that that enjoyed it I say fantastic!

5. There were interesting strategy gambits that added some spice, but the extreme Toyota domination of recent weeks is an ice cold shower. Hint to Nascar inspectors... check under the hood for a supercharger.

Terrible. Zero excitement in this race. Until other teams figure out what the 78 and 18 are doing that's making them so fast, every race is going to be like this. Like I said last week, Indy would have been the same if they hadn't decided to wreck each other.
