9. That old track never gets old.. :D

I like the racing at M'ville, always have. But, this one just seemed to lack "something" --- what, I don't know. Maybe it was the total domination of JJ.

I'll still go an 8.5, though. The frenetic closing laps were good.

I agree. He led wayyyyyy too many laps today. Haha

Mid pack was insane all day, that's where I found that .5

8.0

Jimmie leading about 350 laps took away from the excitement a bit, but there was some really good racing back in the middle of the field. I thought it was fun to watch drivers like Gordon, Martin, Danica, Vickers, etc. pick their way through the field after falling a lap down, getting wrecked, having a bad pit stop, and end up with very solid finishes.

6.67, think we all knew the outcome of the race before it started. Just didn't really feel this one.

7.5 pretty good, but I've seen better at Martinsville.

Got a 5 time champion in an era that is much more competitive than the champions of old, drives a clean race, thanks Jeff Gordon on MRN radio for giving him the opportunity to race, good husband, father, and ho hum. Guess Nascar needs to get some convicted Felons from the NFL.

I like the passing that seems to go along with this new car. I don't like single car domination no matter who it is, especially Jimmie. I'll go a 7.

Chicago area viewers will know what I mean.

It looked like someone lectured the students about their conduct before the assembly. Maybe the malaise was due to the anticipation of payback that never materialized. Good hard racing, typical for a short track, but nothing uncalled for.

Until Kurt's bbq, he must've busted every fuel, oil and brake line under the hood! He is obviously conscious of his attitude, as evidenced by him 'hitch-hiking' the ambulance.

7.0 or 8
California probably spoiled us, anything less than Tony breaking out a chainsaw after the race was going to be a let down.

I'll give it a soild 7..racing was good..but not a fan of "the jimmie johnson show"..

I'll give it an 8. Some good racing back in the pack, but it seemed like whoever got up front was able to check out.

After being at Bristol and seeing California, this one was a 7 at best.

9 here too....nice to see Danica slap the haters in the face
She did a great job on the flat half mile Martinsville. i never would have expected her to do so well. She beat a lot of respectable teams. She needs some time in a dirt sprint car to get used to loose but she was impressive today.

Exactly....very well said...

I give the race a 8.5...very enjoyable...wasn't much of a fight for the lead....but from 2nd back was wild all day!

9. Ya gotta get past the lead car or the fact JJ won! Races have sooooooooo much more taking place than with the first one or two cars or with any driver you love to hate. Watch what goes on in the pack.

Very impressive run by Danica, I never thought she would have run like that at Martinsville. She's still 26th in points, but Tony and Ryan are 22nd and 23rd respectively, so nobody at SHR is exactly setting the world ablaze.

A decent race, not a great race IMO. Wonder where Danica would have finished if not spun by Kenny?

Compared to the truck race,....................was garbage of a race. Trucks put on a great show. But I imagine that I will have alot of time outdoors for the summer. Domination is boring and Jimmie is soooooooooooo boring it makes me puke. haha, was a huge Jeff fan for years, seems since the whine fest the Hendrick clan put on last year at Daytona,.....I find myself standing up and cheering when any of Ricks cars wreck.

Kenny Schrader and Danica Patrick. Boy, that's opposite ends of the sexy-meter right there.
It sure smelled of an intentional chopping of her nose eh? And he even piped up on radio after, "that'll learn her". Kenny like that? had no idea.
