9 -- I'm not really a Brandon Jones fan, but this was a great minor league race plus added spice from the playoff implications. As for being a test of driving skill, probably the best race of this weekend in Kansas.

All of the faster cars were damaged for the most part or used up. Another lap and Jones was toast. Two years in a Gibbs car, even a blind sow finds an acorn IMO.

Not sure I understand. You mean before there were playoffs, drivers that were too far out from the driver(s) in contention for the championship, never interfered (with the final points total?)
