We won't likely know anything til next season at the earliest. I hope for Bestwick and Nicole Briscoe to be brought on..the rest, don't really care.

Yep! But that was because those Ford drivers and cars scared them
I had a subscription to Winston Cup Scene and got the news 3-4 weeks late . I had to carefully read the columns and try to find little tidbits of speculation. Pat Paterson had a news show on TV but it didn't seem to be a regular thing.. Later on , Eli Gold got got his show on TNN and things started to take off .

Grand National Scene had some great reporters like Steve Waid but the best of all was a chap named Joe Whitlock. He was the smartest, most intuitive and best NASCAR writer I ever came across. I began subscribing to GNS shortly after they began publication and I saved every issue, neatly bundled and tied until 1999 when a water leak in the room where they were stored dampened almost all of them, and as the saying goes, the rest is history.

I'm also old enough to remember when no races were on live TV except the last 100 miles of the Daytona 500 on Wide World of Sports. And even some of that would be interrupted by other events. The only other NASCAR racing you could see on TV was a few replays on Wide World of Sports several weeks later or clips from a show Johnny Rutherford hosted called "The Racers".
