Hey guys, just read through your thread here. I was watching the race but I wasnt where there was a computer, otherwise I would have been here with you guys.
First of all, I think that was the best race Ive seen all season. Everything about it was just stellar, even the TV guys were on their top game. Tony seems a natural in that TV booth.
Shane Hmiel, what the heck was he thinking?
For some reason, I saw the Hornaday/Riggs wreck coming. The fact that Riggs hung on to a car like that for so long and the crew kept at it shows how much they want that championship.
When Kenseth and Sauter came out of turn 4 both sideways I thought for sure it was over for both of them, but they both saved it, great job by both of them. And then Kenseth saving the car again on the final lap after the bump, that was an awesome save, he was sure on top of that wheel.
Harvick sticking up for his teammate and showing that he genuine cared and wanted for him to win was nice, and that altercation after the race between him and Kenseth was no big deal in my book, just two men talking things over, no punches thrown, no shoving. No harm, no foul.
The interview with Sauter in victory lane, asking him if he meant to punt Kenseth on the last lap, he said, "absolutely." That was pretty funny, dude doesnt back down. I think he will make a very good WC driver in the near future.
Overall, awesome race, best race Ive seen all season, but again, any race is awesome at Richmond.
