Road course race at IMS?

Did IRP install SAFER? If not, I'm guessing that's the big financial stumbling block.

It's all moot, since NASCAR isn't going back there regardless.

Someone posted earlier in the thread about wanting to see Indy Car try the Roval at Daytona if NASCAR went to the Indy Roadcourse, that would be fine and good...but give me a Formula 1 US Grand Prix on the Daytona Roval. I need that in my life.

I think the only places F1 can race at in the States right now are COTA and IMS, since they can only race on Grade 1 tracks.

yes! and with Lights so the Brickyard could be run at night

The only decent bandaid to this race is by putting the Brickyard as Race 1 of the Chase and Chicago back to nights in July. At least it's another unique track to the Chase schedule.

I am not sure what people mean by IMS not conceding enough to make the Brickyard great again so ISC may have the secret formula.
