Rookies

You guys are really selling Ganassi Racing short I think. They looked like it was 2010 at points during last year. Even the 42 looked good near the end of the year. The equipment is not that bad.

I worry that Larson may not have the equipment to be competitive, the 42 hasnt been much in the past.
I think Dillon definitely has the upper hand and will likely win the ROTY this year. He has better equipment and more experience than Larson. I don't really see any of the other contenders being a major threat to Dillon either.

Not to worry Larson fans. I'm sure the sun glare coming off of the silver spoon sticking out of Austins piehole will cause him driving issues allowing for Larson to take the Rookie of the Year honors.

LOL!

Dillon will have the best season. How could he not?

Larson WILL win a race. Not sure if Dillon does, but Dillon will finish higher in points by a good margin.

Allgaier gets some top 10s. Has a better season than Stenhouse did in 2013.

Everyone else will be a backmarker.
I disagree, Dillon has a lot of pressure and scrutiny on him driving the 3 and I think he will feel that pressure. Larson has the better season and makes the Chase, Dillon does not.

Stenhouse was more accomplished than all of them and he didn't really get things going until the late summer and fall. I wouldn't expect the world out of them right away.

The 42 wasn't competitive because Montoya was the driver.

It wasnt all Juans fault, Both the teams cars have had major issues, why do you think he hit the damned jet drier ?? Suspension issues, handling issues etc.

Montoya was consistent enough to make the Chase in 2009 without winning a race -- something McMurray couldn't do in a three win season. Ganassi cars are terrible.
Can you at least come up with current reply?o_O 2009 was 5 years ago.
2 wins in 253 races is not consistent, IMO.

The cars are trash. Montoya was robbed out of a couple wins just last year. That's in spite of the fact that Ganassi cars are trash.
Lot's of drivers get "robbed". Real drivers find a way to win, or at least be competitive. You think Juan would've made The Chase in the 78 last year?

Hey Bobby, try to keep up. We're not talking about Kurt Busch or Furniture Row, we're talking about Ganassi. Jamie McMurray won the Daytona 500 AND Brickyard 400 and still couldn't make the Chase because his season was plagued with DNFs.

Do you think Kurt Busch would've made the Chase in a Ganassi car last year? I don't.

Hey Andy, try and keep up. Kurt Busch made The Chase in his first year with a one-car team. Juan had only two wins in 253 races in a two-car team with unlimited resources. Stop making excuses for Juan Pablo's inabilities in a stock car.

The 42 & 1 have had issues for quite sometime. They've changed crew chiefs, car chiefs, engineers and motor suppliers. I think getting a fresh driver in at least one of the cars is a good idea. I don't know if they build the cars in house or they are brought in, but I'd reverse that too if I was them. I think Larson is a good driver and has big time potential, but I don't know if his team has big potential and who knows how long it'll take to turn that team around. On the flip side though I don't know how ready he is for Cup, so they'll be another curve for that team.

They got the Hendrick motors. If they can't win with what they've got, they suck.

I think the poor performance of the 42 in recent years is equal parts Juan and equipment. If Kyle Larson is as good as everyone thinks he is, I guess his finishes will tell the tale of how much of the last 7 years was Juan and how much was the equipment.

They build their cars I believe and get motors from Hendrick. If their stuff sucks as bad as you suggest, they are screwing Kyle Larson. How the hell would he be able to tell them that the stuff sucks without a basis for comparison?

No... can't do that because just last season they started getting Hendrick engines.. everything before that is incomparable ..and Juan almost won 2 races this year.
