Both of these guys are great drivers, I dont care who wins I just hope the roty trophy doesn't take away anything from the guy who doesn't win.
 
Well the guy that doesn't win doesn't get the trophy or the prestige!!:) And no matter who wins nobody can take the talent away from the the other. Both are very impressive, but only one wins...........and, I think JJ is better. But, I've been wrong before.:)

Does anyone remember that race JJ was driveing aggresively passing cars left and right, but then nascar told him to calm it down a bit. I havent seen some vets drive like that much less a rookie.
 
He did drive extremely well on sunday. He has proven that he is the better of the 2 rookies...ON SUNDAY that is. Qualifying is Newmans best ...he actually don't have to race nobody...JUST HIMSELF.

How many times has Newman finished second? In the top five?
 
Isn't JJ tied for the most poles this season also?

They both have alot of talent, but I still think the roty system severly needs to be edited. Just think if jj wins the cup and ryan wins roty that would be pretty sad. It would give the nascar haters something else to complain about.

Yeah, look at football and baseball. They all make if that team has a championship and has a rookie basically makes that player ROTY. Nascar should do the same thing. If that rookie wins the championship...he also is the ROTY! Nascar does is BASS-ACKWARDS!
 
Everytime it looks like most favor newman, johnsons votes come up this has to be one of the closest poles I have seen on here.
 
I think Jimmy is the better of the two,But I am going by where he is in the Winston points standings.:)
