Ladies and Gentlemen, the All-Star Race is upon us and we also have points racing in the Truck Series this weekend. There are a lot of things to cover so please read this over very carefully. Pay attention to where your name is so you know how to proceed with your predictions this weekend.
Everyone's All-Star predictions are due before the green flag of the OPEN, no matter if you're playing through the Open or just the All-Star Race itself.
NOTE: Truck Series results and points from last weekend will be shown to prepare for this weekend's Truck race. But Cup results and points will wait until next week. If you want to see the Cup results before then, they are found at the end of the comments in last week's post http://racing-reference.info/showblog?id=3004
The following players did not clinch a spot into the All-Star Race. Voting for these players closes at exactly 6:00pm Eastern on Saturday, May 20. And remember, if the Fan Vote winner races their way into the All-Star Race through the Open, the player with the 2nd most votes will win the Fan Vote. You can submit up to 3 votes this week. You cannot vote for the same person twice this week and you cannot vote for yourself. If there is a tie in votes, the higher finishing player in the Open will win the Fan Vote.
If you do not see your name on this list, then you are in the All-Star Race and you may proceed down to the All-Star section of this post. If your name is on this list, you must read through the Open section before you read the All-Star section.

The player that wins Segment 1 will then qualify for the All-Star Race and will no longer be included in the remaining Open segments. This process is repeated for Segments 2 and 3.
A fourth and final player will qualify for the All-Star Race based on votes submitted from players since the Easter off-week. The player with the highest number of votes that did not win any of the Open segments wins the Fan Vote and adds their name to the list of All-Star players.
