It was a bad mistake, I agree. But he is only 8 points behind. Yes, he had a good shot at winning and at least a podium finish but 8 points isnt bad. He can get 3 bonus points as well at Miami so its not over yet.

True but he had a 24 point lead over Franchitti and a 32 point lead over Dixion going into the race, Briscoe could of basicly taken 3rd in the race and still be ahead of both Dixion and Franchitti by about 18 points. One thing i was thinking when he returned to the race is that Penske might try telling Helio to pull off the track so Brisco could get another position. He didnt do it im glad but still all Brisco really had to do is finish 3rd yesturday and 3rd in Homestead and the championship would be his but after finishing 18th he has to win at Homestead.
