This has been kicked about for some time now, and I know they view him winning Bathurst as practically a "must" before coming over here and getting the stock car experience.

I'm all for it, though. Marcos Ambrose tried, and well, how his time here went is subject to debate, but it was certainly nice to see someone try the crossover. I think Scott could be the second to pull it off, and I'm keenly waiting to see if he would beat Marcos's records here.

Among other things, this implies a fourth Penske team in Cup.

Regardless, that's too far down the road for me to think about, but definitely call me when he gets here.

+1 on winning Bathurst first.

I still think a future full-time Cup gig is a little too ambitious but he’d make for a great ringer and potentially a DPi shoe.
