I am watching SWAT. It's an older movie but I caught the last 1/2 hour, it's pretty good.

I am a sucker for an action/adventure movie.
 
Finally saw Dunkirk last night. A different kind of war film that features almost minimal storytelling, but is technically masterful.i love that Christopher Nolan is such a classicist that he shot the aerial battle sequences on film with cameras mounted to real vintage planes and minimal effects. That is still superior to digital effects when done with such care.
 
The Lone Ranger last night,,,again. What a hoot!

I watched another movie tonight called Personal Shopper starring Kristen Stewert. It was pretty good. Kind of a thriller/paranormal with an ending that leaves you going "whaaaaaaat?"
 
I watched Logan Lucky last night, I thought it was really good. It was kind of like a redneck Ocean's Eleven. As with any NASCAR movie, there were some inaccuracies about the NASCAR stuff, but still a good movie nonetheless. Carl Edwards and Kyle Busch make a cameo appearance, but blink and you'll miss it.
 
I watched The Bone Collector last night. It was ehhhh so so. It is an older movie.

The Belco Experiment. It was ok. Gory. The ending wasn't great but it was still interesting.
 
I finally saw Dead Pool. It was pretty good.

I forgot I saw this one called Paparazzi. It's really old, 2004 but I liked it.
 
Me and my son went to see Star Wars,The Last Jedi.He bought the tickets and I told him I would buy the refreshments.It was $34 for 2 small drinks,2 popcorn and a box of candy.I overheard the lady beside me telling her husband he had better not complain about her shopping this weekend,they had 3 kids with them.

AMC Theaters bought out the local Carmike and their prices suck. $13 for tickets, $7 for a drink, $8 for popcorn.

I've seen Wonder Woman, IT and Star Wars in theaters this year and it's cost a year's vacation it feels like.
 
Theater prices have got to be one of the most ridiculous things. If I had a fanily, I'd literally never take them to a theater.

Just seen it, and I've got to disagree. Wasn't anywhere as good as Ep. 7 or Rouge One. Actually the more I think about the movie the more I dislike. It's better than the prequels but that's it.

After Episode 7, everyone said the movie sucked and the saga needed to go a new direction because TFA was just a New Hope remake. The Last Jedi does just that and people want to say TFA was the best movie.

Can't please fans of this series.
 
I liked that Ep. 7 had that New Hope feel. Didn't expect the same here but the movie came up short. Of course all depends and what they do with Ep. 9 but it needs some big twist to really tie this trilogy together.

I watch movies to be entertained.

The Last Jedi entertained me.
 
Same here, I've never been to the theatre and not been entertained. Just wasnt as entertained as much as I expected and it fell short in some places. Solid 7 out 10 but nothing special.
 
The last jedi must be near top in the series. Anyone who liked 7 more is high on disney fumes.
 
This movie felt more like a Disney film to me and that's part of the reason I feel 7 was better. Felt more like a Marvel movie while 7 actually felt like a Star Wars movie.
 
I watched Last Jedi today. Honestly don't know how I feel about it yet. Won't post any spoilers though.
