I just saw a brief preview of the new "technology" proposed by ESPN to be introduced for the Indy Cup race. I think it's cheesy and irrelevant.

Yeah, I saw that too. Maybe during the race it could be more meaningful- if they can show the air over a car out front versus a car in the middle of the field. If that isn't the case, I totally agree that it's kinda silly.
Point? What point? It ranks up there with that game-ish foxtrax or whatever it is. Obviously somebody is trying to cut some budget corners.

That engine graphic Brewer just used to explain the 8's blow-up was pretty cool. Hadn't seen anything like that before.
I liked that too. But the air thingy didn't impress me so much.
That was a great explanation. I liked that.
The air effects weren't so bad when used in the race. At least they didn't stuff it down our throats with over-use.
