"Shorter races in general makes sense"

Leave everything the hell alone for awhile. Everything.

We just talked about this during Media Week. The writer is regurgitating old news. Regurgitation sums up how I feel about this subject. I'm guessing opinions haven't changed much since then. I still vote no.

I've advocated for shortening some races for years and years. Particularly the races where the drivers admit they settle down and pace for a bunch of laps in the middle, saving their equipment for the end. As Mr. Rahal notes, TV contracts and possibly some track contracts may not allow shortening any races today so Johali you shouldn't have to be concerned yet.

NASCAR used to have rewards for the leader at midway (green flag laps) but that still allowed some races to stagnate.
