Shuffle at Evernham

Ol Ray has done some team shuffling during the offseason at Evernham Motorsports.

Evernham, who won fame and three Winston Cup titles as crew chief for Jeff Gordon at Hendrick Motorsports, eliminated that job on Bill Elliott's No. 19 Dodge last year when he hired former crew chief Mike Ford as team director, Bobby Foley as lead mechanic and Derek Jones as race engineer.

He now has made similar changes on Jeremy Mayfield's No. 19 Intrepid, with Kenny Francis, who was race engineer on Elliott's car, as lead mechanic, Mike Shiplett lead mechanic and Josh Browne as race engineer.

Jones will continue his duties as senior engineer for Evernham Motorsports, while Dr. Eric Warren will remain technical director, overseeing all engineering aspects related to Evernham's team.
But, will we see ............Hi Jeremy! do anything this year?
Do ya thing this team will get a win or what?

Yepperz they just gave up on Casey!

If Ray would have left things alone for 2002, I bet Casey would have won at least one race! Things appeared to be jelling for that 19 team at the end of 2001. Stirring the pot can be bad sometimes!

Casey should of stayed in Busch at least one more year but oh well

Ray killed that team when he pulled Casey Atwood out of it. By restructuring the team a bit, maybe Jeremy Mayfield can have a good run this year.

Isn't that suppose to be "Bill Elliott's No. 9?
