Shutting down controversy here not helpful

If any of you are the ghosts visiting OTC at the moment, mention it here please. I've asked fury to look at why the posting there isn't working but I'd rather he not waste his effort unless people are interested in reviving it ... even if only for a little while
 
I wouldn't even suggest it if it wasn't for the 30+ ghosts probing it immediately after it was mentioned here. Could be just google robots, but it might not ... hence me asking if it's anyone here.

Not something that holds much interest for me personally.

I find the podium very interesting at times. Get to see other people's point of view, even if I don't always agree.

I seriously don't believe the podium is a cool place for you Pat ... you seem much too nice to go thru the basement door into hell ;)
Besides ........... if you did happen to show up there I would have to start behaving myself

The best way to handle the podium section, well heck, even the public part of the forum is to remember this, they are just words on a screen, it grand scheme of life, they are meaningless, and you are the only one that can make those words bother you, and that is just silly, life is too short for that.

Just my 1.5 cents.

That's tough sometimes. I have a lot outside this forum but when you get owned in an arguement and/or it gets personal, even though they don't mean anything to you it's hard not to snipe when you can somewhere else. Be interesting to see others politics. May not be hard to guess.

Some of the forums I have belonged to have featured members who have tried to find out who I am and where I live so they can come to my house and beat me up lol. One of those chaps has departed this earth and I figure the other guy is either working on his third liver or has expired too. I have belonged to a couple of really wild places where it was all combat all the time.

I read an article today that some of the NFL owners are concerned that a segment of the fan base will leave the NFL and not come back due to the current controversy. IMO the Nascar owners made the right play from a business sense on this issue as it panders to the demographic of the current fan base. In other words there are enough racing issues alienating Nascar fans there is no reason to give them something non racing related to get worked up over.
