I usually go to all of it but have too much going on this year. I'll try to go Sunday. Where do you live?
It's a blast. I'm lucky to have it damn near within rifle shot. Two hours southwest of Orlando. Just seems like this time of year I always have obligations in business, which is good, but I sure want to make this sometime as I do love Pro and Super Late Model racing.

Yep, Five Flags Speedway is in Alabama too.
Yep. It's been a mess around here all day and is supposed to continue through tomorrow.Rain. Blame Johali.
The weatherman says probably not tonight. It's supposed to be storming.Race postponed to Monday night.
Let me know if you make it. I'll take you to a badass pub that serves that slop that you like to drink.Trying to figure out a way to get down there.

Aha and eureka. So that's why you've been even grumpier than usual. And I quit drinking.
I'm disappointed in the lack of replies in this thread.
don't know anything about Stephen Nasse, if he has the talent to make a career in racing or not. but I don't think he did himself any favors with the tweeter rant.
He doesn't give a ****.
good for him. as long as he understands where he's at, where he's going, and is comfortable being who he is, he will be able to enjoy his future.
I will say I did a little research. considering as young as he was when he started and where he's been during his steps up the ladder, he's had to have had financial support/security from somewhere. and good for him.
but I have a problem with his cynical attitude concerning supposedly silver spoon racers. especially at age 21.
someone once explained to me that if a racer has talent, the money will find them. may or may not be true. especially when drivers are being considered/discarded while in their teens.
.
and I will concede that sponsorship dollars are necessary to run any series to get noticed...
but that money will always jump to the next big thing when the results won't support the money.
back to the Snowball Derby: sounds like an incredible race at the finish. after a weekend of weather hell for all.
disappointment? the only video of the race I've seen doesn't include the race to the finish. only the Lasse under caution crap.
and that isn't why I enjoy racing.
JMO.

Boo Hoo Hoo.
The Twitter tirade exposed the guy. He got caught out in a racing thing. His on-track response was to go all Bowman Gray on Byron.
Oh, well ... now he has something to fix.
