Can someone explain what this is, preferably in words of one syllable or less?

Phoenix Raceway, a subsidiary of the International Speedway Corporation, announced today that FunWall has signed a letter of intent to bring FunWall's proprietary mobile social gaming platform to the world of motorsports. With this partnership, the track will be the first motorsports venue to offer social mobile gaming that is fully integrated into the race day experience.

"We are excited to offer even more to our fans as part of their race day experience through FunWall's revolutionary technology," said Bryan R. Sperber, President of Phoenix Raceway. "This partnership combines the attraction of mobile gaming with the excitement of live motorsports entertainment creating a unique and engaging platform for our fans.

Fans take turns driving driving a designated "Fan Car" during the races via an app on their phones. If the fan controlled car wins everyone who can prove they helped drive the car will get a Monster Hat and a coupon for a free can of Monster redeemable at Publix. (Some restrictions may apply. Must be 21 or older to participate)

"mobile social gaming"

Almost sounds like gambling to me.

"Step right up, ladies and gentlemen, pick the lap that the first debris caution is thrown and win yourself a kewpie doll !"

Just give me a good race to watch from a decent vantage point at the track for a reasonable price and I'm sure most people will be happy. Unless you are checking out lap times or accessing in-car video on your mobile, I'd rather not sit next to you if you are playing on your phone DURING A LIVE CUP RACE!!!

It's describing how they are going to do qualifying from now on. Everybody download's an app that shows a headshot of each driver in the field in sequence. You swipe right on the screen to vote for a driver, left to downvote. The field is set based on who has the best net vote total.

DON'T GIVE BRIAN & COMPANY ANY IDEAS!!!

As Archie Bunker used to say "Whoop-de-do, whoop-de-doo, whoop-de-doo!"

You forgot to add "And stay off my lawn!!!"
