Solar Energy at the house

Not currently using but looked into it very seriously. Company was offering free panels but you paid for installation.
It would lower my bill and excess would be sold back and that would pay for the installation.
.
My house would have to be rotated 35 degrees to take advantage of optimum sun. Two trees would have to be cut down. AND while my house was only 17-18 years at the time it would be best if I put on a new roof.'' Don't want to re-roof 10 years from now and have the panels removed and replaced as it's ''very costly''. ''

It’s definitely worth it if you buy the system as opposed to leasing. Especially if you aren’t planning to sell your house in the near future. People around here are refinancing their houses to fund the solar project because rates are still very low.

Biggest thing here in texas... how hail-resistant are they. Not sure much can live up against the golfballs that Weatherford had this evening.
