Suggestion first....can you set the notification type option so that the default is "do not subscribe" instead of "Instant Notification"? It's a pain in the butt to check it out every time I post.

??I am not getting any email about threads I HAVE suscribed to, and haven't for months. Neither am I getting email notification of private messages.

Sorry, kat. I was doing some research on this and forgot to post what I had found. Please forgive me. In your control panel, I believe you have the selection marked 'Instant email notification'. That will subscribe you to every thread. By going to User CP, you can change that selection to 'Do not subscribe'. In User CP, click on the Edit Options, and scroll down the page to the box for Messaging & Notification. Use the drop down menu next to Default Thread Subscription Mode and change your selection to 'Do not subscribe'. As for why you are not getting the emails to the ones you DO want to subscribe to, I don't have the answer. If you still have the att email addy, then I REALLY don't know why you aren't getting the email notifications. Hopefully this at least solved half of your problem.
