Sonoma Race Thread

Brian Vickers is making a strong case for having a full time ride. Truex needs to step it up and find victory lane or he might not have a ride next year.

Funny how yesterday it was JV that caused the wreck because he drove in to hard and dumped her. Today Paul went in slow and caused Kyle to spin him....

Yeah, it's terrible how Kyle stayed on the brakes there. Jac would not approve.

Is it just me or is the little blonde Sprint girl getting a little thick around the middle? Hmmmm....

Great race and great race thread...somebody should send the race thread to Jeff Foxworthy...he might get some new material from it :D.

I'm glad Truex's crew weren't in charge of Apollo 11.

"Yeah, uh, A-11...this is Houston..uh y'know...when you see the moon is getting close...go ahead and try to land".

Of course...if it was Jeff Gordon's crew in charge of Apollo-11 it would go like this:

"Ahh..yeah..A-11? Listen we're not sure we got all the fuel in the tanks...you may want to find a landing spot where you can camp for awhile"

Personally, I think Vickers and McMurray would make great teammates.. Bye,Bye, Juan......

IMO, it's more likely it's bye bye Jamie.
mmmm don't know , his sponsors love him , he put them in some mighty impressive victory lanes and he's a good guy . It's not always about how much you win. Look at Junior.

And Burton, Newman and...

I just finished the race, and Andy, all those commercials are the reason I DVR the race and start it 90mins late.

Ok so now on to the race, how the hell didn't they throw a caution for that wreck Jr was in? There was debris all over the race track and cars were driving around it. I didn't see anyone comment on that. Thoughts?

Good for Clint Bowyer, I've always liked him but I'm not happy about anything to do with a Waltrip having success. I'm just happy this didn't happen on fox so we didn't have to hear Mike and Darell crying.

Well here in the land down under I was up and watching since 4 am and loved the race. I really enjoy the road races and its ones like this which I fell add weight to adding one in the chase.

Its watching these guys drive and the attitude that the cars have with the constant steering input and different passing manouvers.

A good drive from Kurt, responsible getting out of the way from Montoya, a bit of push and shove here and there and no phantom cautions.

This is why I am so tired at work on Monday.

Thank you USA for giving me NASCAR to watch.

I work on Sunday I turn my phone off so nobody ruins it for me.

TNT freakin blows. I like fox. DW is hard to deal with and Mikey just needs to go away.

Rednecks dont eat cats asians do. Mexicans eat dogs and rednecks eat beans and Martinsville hot dogs and hot wings.

Did Vickers get fined one time for stoppin on the track to draw a caution? Why didnt they fime that one feller?

Why did that last caution take so long? Was it so Newman could get around? What happened to no lucky dog inside 10 to go?

Big wreck should have been the end of it.

Nice Job by Clint.

I think Kurt did a better job giving the circumstances, and a good interview by him in the end. kadus to Tony for complimenting him. Even if TNT wants to tell us seven times what happened two weeks ago.

I thought it was an outstanding race. Wish we could get more road races
