hey @BobbyFord you get a chance to see this?

No, I really had no interest. I haven't been down to see the shuttle either. I doubt I will unless my girlfriend wants to go. I avoid Los Angeles like the plague. Traffic is terrible down there, no matter what time you go.

I would be down there all the time..lol..one of my bucket list things to do is to see a shuttle exhibit

Come to Texas, DF, and see the shuttle in Houston. It's not a real shuttle, but it sits on the 747 used to carry it. The plus is that you can go inside
both the 747 and the shuttle mock up.

I've always been fascinated with NASA and the space program. I was just a little dp when they were running the Apollo program to the Moon. As a kid I was glued to anything and everything space related. That's carried on throughout my life. That pic of that tank crossing that bridge really puts the size of that thing into perspective. Great and interesting pic IMO.

DF, if you like shuttles I think you would like the pics on this page I bookmarked a while back. Multiple abandoned Russian shuttles in a huge old Soviet space program facility: http://ralphmirebs.livejournal.com/219949.html

I've had an interest in urbex for a long time, and those are some of the coolest shots I've seen.
