We all have our favorites, and I assume all or most of us like other sports also. So who is your favorite in each sport you follow, and how long have you stuck by them?

Baseball - Texas Rangers, 24 years
College Football - Penn State - 20 years
NBA - San Antonio Spurs, 7 years
NFL - Tampa Bay Bucs, 5 years
NASCAR - Ward Burton, first year. Mark Martin before that, 13 years.

Other than hockey, which I have loved all my life, I wasn't really all that into sports (besides those I played or my school team) until college:

Hockey: Detroit Red Wings
Nascar: Bobby Labonte, Tony Stewart
NFL: Washington Redskins
Baseball: Baltimore Orioles or ABY: Anybody but Yankees, (was a Tiger fan in elementary school)
College Football: Virginia Tech & Maryland
College Basketball: Maryland or ABD: Anybody but Duke
Soccer: DC United
NBA: Um, no thanks!

Baseball - Atlanta Braves, 20 yrs
College Football - Clemson, 25 yrs
NBA - I can't stand it :bleh:
NFL - I was a cowboys fan all of my life til I moved there. LOL, too much to get into, but I've disliked the NFL for about 8 yrs. :kaioken:
Nascar - 10 to 15 yrs ago, Bill Elliott and Ernie Irvin. Today, Tony Stewart and Ryan Newman, but I still enjoy seeing Bill do good.;)
Hockey - Dallas Stars, 8 yrs

Cleveland all the way, my whole life. The Browns, Tribe and the Cavs. Been Kinda down on the Cavs because they have been bad for so long. This year it appears they are making a push for the #1 draft choice, again.

NASCAR is Bill Elliott first since about 1985, and then Jeff Gordon since last year.

MLB - Atlanta Braves, pretty much my whole life
NFL - Chicago Bears, same as Braves & Tennessee Titans since they came into existance(Usually go to four or five home games a year)
College Football - Tennessee Volunteers
NBA - I basically hate the Lakers and that's pretty much it
College Basketball - Memphis Tigers
NHL - Don't really care but if I had to pick I'd say the Nashville Predators(duh)
NASCAR - Jeff Gordon, since his Busch series days

NFL..... St.Louis Rams 96 or 97
College Football MSU a few years

i agree about baseball

NFL - San Francisco 49ers (16 years, my whole life)
MLB - San Francisco Giants (7 years)
NHL - San Jose Sharks (5 years)
NBA - Chicago Bulls (11 years)
NASCAR - Ernie Irvan my whole life and Jeff Gordon for 9 years

MLB - Red Sox all my life. First game at Fenway in 1950
NFL - Patriots naturally
NBA - not much interest 'til the playoffs and then no real favorites
NASCAR - Jeff Gordon for last 4 years - only 'cause my daughter's guitar teacher was also Jeff Gordon and we played the name/teasing game with him in 1998. After watching a few races and beginning to get an understanding that WC wasn't simply a bunch of rednecks "driving around in circles" and that not all fans were just waiting for the "big one", I got hooked.

NFL the raiders since about '74
MLB the Yankees since '78 the A's before that
NBA Boston until Larry Bird retired haven't watched a game since
Hockey The Avs
Nascar Dale Earnhardt in about '83 now it is DEI, Gibbs, and RCR
