Spring Turkey Hunting photos thread for 2023 season

Season opened today in South Florida, south of state road 70. I harvested this organic Osceola species of Wild Turkey in Hendry County on my hunting lease at 7:30am.
(notice how I slipped ORGANIC in there)

Those things scare the shi-t out of me...unless they are on a plate covered with gravy.

Here is another view of the bird from 3-10-23. he was 19 pounds, beautiful species of wild Turkey. On my lease we strive to maintain a healthy environment for their species perpetuation. Harvesting on Gobblers after they reach full maturity for 2 years.
