Actually, considering the crap car that Tony had and the mediocre at best car Newman had, I don't think she did that bad. Tony was only a few places in front of her. That whole organization was off this week.

They were off last week as well. You can bet they will put in some OT getting it fixed.

Where the heck is Greg , sent him out for chinese food last week and he never came back . I got change comin too.:(

Still here, made it through the whole thing with only a small dose. But I was tired and with no fem (video) and nothing more to post, I just laid in the bed with the headset on and listened to the last part.

To be honest it was a bit of a blur after being awake so many hours.
I didnt get any video for any of the three big races. I almost purchased one of the race things from Nascar but I didnt want to spend 80 or 100 dollars for a one off use, and if that had been blocked after the buy it would have just been to much frustration.

I could probably get the F1 over dubbed in Chinese now, I did it with the Spanish GP afterwards. But is sounds awful, trust me none of the regular voices calling any of the races sound that bad anywhere. It is too hysterical. It was strange I could get Monaco practice sessions streamed with the BBC audio, and watch them during free time, but once the qualifying started the blocking process was in effect.

I will probably watch the Indy 500 sometime later this week, scan the 600 and watch the last couple of hunerdd miles, and just be content with reading the F1 notes. But the first priorty will be to see my son as much as possibile

Good race thread tonight. It was nice not having Andy bitching about everything.

Now it's time for Game of Thrones!

CHARLOTTE MOTOR SPEEDWAY- Chevrolets have a rich history at Charlotte Motor Speedway and, as this May. 28 World 600-mile stock car classic rapidly approaches, it appears that the year 1972 will do nothing to diminish that image. The major share of the attention on NASCAR 's Winston Cup Grand National circuit this season has been devoted to the red and gold No. 12 Chevrolet driven by Bobby Allison, defending World 600 winner, from Hueytown, Ala. And now, with the opening of practice for the 13th annual 600 just two weeks away, it appears that there will be not one but a group of competitive Chevys in the field.

Heading the list, of course, is Allison, who has won both pole positions and races in the Coca Cola entry this season and set the race record Of 140.442 miles per hour last season. But joining him in the role of Chevrolet standard bearers 'are such drivers as brother Donnie Allison, Wendell Scott of Danville, Va., and Coo Coo Marlin of Columbia, Tenn.
