They're all over here. Same Hendrick logo as race teams, then insert auto brand. Chevy, BMW, Acura, Porsche, Mercedes, Lexus, you name it. I bought my last 3 cars at Hendrick dealers. Not out of fan loyalty at all, they just happened to be the ones who had exactly what I wanted and offered fair deal. In fact, I still view HMS as the Evil Empire from my 90's fandom and just have to accept my guy driving for them as cost of doing business.

Ironically, the only dealership with "The Felon" on it here is Toyota. @Revman wouldn't know what to do. :lol2:
 
As others have pointed out, this is nothing new. I'm not sure if this is still the case, but at one point (many years ago, I think in the 80s) Hendrick was the leading seller of Hondas in the United States. They've obviously been the top-dog GM team in NASCAR for many years, but on the dealership business side it's not at all GM specific.

Remember years ago when Kyle Busch got clocked doing 129 MPH in a 45 zone in a borrowed Lexus LFA that all the top Toyota Cup drivers got to drive? The drivers were picking up that car from a Hendrick Lexus.

It just always threw me when you associate Hendrick with City Chevrolet and you walk into "Hendrick Audi" or "Hendrick Porsche." :XXROFL:In fact, I think one of the closest dealers to the HMS shop near Charlotte Motor Speedway is Hendrick Toyota. Poor Rev's head is going to be like the scene in Scanners. You know the one.
 
any other NASCAR owners have this many dealers?

I heard that Mark Martin owes at least one, likely other drivers
 
Boris Said owns a BMW dealership in California.

There's Jimmie Johnson Chevrolet, I believe Junior has one too. Jeff Gordon. Dale Jarrett has a dealer, I forget which brand. A bunch of them do.
 
On the Indycar side I know Bobby Rahal has at least 1

And a LOT of those are partnerships with the old felon himself. Hendrick Automotive actually runs the Boris Said BMW dealership
