Stewart named in assault probe

Just for the record, the incident with the reporter , I have been told by a very close friend of Tony's that the reporter that he "punched" was in the locker room where the drivers change their clothes.  He was not just in the garage area, but in the locker room with him.  What is up with that??????  That is supposed to be off limits to ALL reporters/photogs but this guy thought he could get away with it.

Some people think they can do and/or get away with anything and they need to realize that these drivers are after all human beings and need some small bit of privacy, their whole life is not for display.

Locker room? Don't they change in their own haulers? If Tony and some other "guys" were taking their clothes off together, we might have discovered an even bigger story.

ive never heard of a locker room at race tracks......ive worked for 2 teams and have a buddy thats worked for 1....ive never heard the words locker room said before.

if they have one...its some very secert place.

this could be like a case here in Texas a few years ago. Some woman accused 2 Dallas Cowboys of raping here at gunpoint until evidence came out that one was at a bar or restaurant with hundreds of witnesses at the time of the supposed events. She was the one who ended up in prison. She even claimed she had a vidio tape of the event.

Found it interesting when Gibbs said that they had his team and their people with him and around him from the time he left his car and no one saw anything out of the normal. I assume those people were all with him as part of the anger management and past experiences. Going to be very interesting. Was impressed that the drivers made it known to him that they were behind him.

According to men familiar with the situation, the incident began when Stewart was walking back to his hauler. With less than three feet of space between the rigs in the garage area, Stewart reached the side door to his rig and pushed aside a woman to open the door and climb into his dressing room. The woman, so far unnamed, then went to the back of the truck and awaited Stewart. When he appeared, after changing, she told him, 'You owe me an apology.' Stewart, somewhat taken aback, said, 'OK, I'm sorry.' Then Stewart, as he walked away, grumbled to his crew about race fans in the garage, remarks that apparently sparked the official complaint.

If this is the case then that woman is going to get some SERIOUS heat from alot of NASCAR fans for pressing such B.S. She seriously needs to get a life if what is stated above is true.
