Super Bowl LX

This life-long Boomer noticed that the sports section of today's local paper has a list of "Super Bowl Results" and another of "Super Bowl TV Ratings."

The results list makes reference to each game with the common, inane, use of Roman Numerals.

In a revolutionary move, the TV ratings list instead associates a given rating to the year that the game was played.

For what it's worth, the Super Bowl with the highest TV rating occurred in 1982.

For the first ten years or so most of the Super Bowls were not that good. They were blow-outs, it has definitely got better over time.

I hope New England wins but it is not like a passionate thing for me. If it is a classic and a great game I will be happy, that matters most.

Just remember that the people at the game are paying about $10 each for a soda or bottled water.

So you are saving about $20 everytime you hit the fridge when you add in the Cheetos. Do it enough times to max out the savings and you can justify the lost wages for missing work tomorrow.
