This is in the Podium as well. The new engine is going in a '70 Chevelle SS ragtop 454,which undergoing frame off restore. Around 540 hp. Engine deshrouded, balanced and blueprinted.
The Green machine is all original, after a 5 year restore. 454, Turbo 400, around 450hp.
And, he has a '70 El Camino SS 454, which is up next for restoration.
History like these cars is slowly disappearing, except for people like Don, (the owner), who keeps them going.

Those things used to lay along the railroads and byways that had telephone poles and power lines. Today they are worth $45.00. Seems like a joke to me. Antiques are not as popular as they once were. People and advancements in all areas have given people the mindset of tossing away things that no longer work or have no further value to them even if they do operate properly.

Technically last night, but as I made my way to the exit of Delaware International Speedway where Stewart Friesen won the Diamond State 50 for the Short Track Super Series.
