Talladega Race Thread

Well the rain has stopped they say so let's hope they can get this track dried fast, get them titans out there now
 
You know, they should bring 43 jet dryers to the track. Then, when rain cautions or delays happen, the cars pit and the pit crews have to take out the race car transponders/scoring device and place it on a jet dryer. Then the drivers take over the jet dryers and race around the track in those. When the track is dry, reverse said process.
 
DW said earlier that the Johnson seen the Fords coming but now says that he didn't know what was going on.

You mean, 42. Can you imagine Montoya on the track with 43 jet dryers? :eek:

Weather is weird - I remember a Little League game in Douglass County GA (out towards Ala a bit) and it stormed so heavily that the dugouts (it was an old-school field with actual dugouts) filled up with water so much that we were knee deep in no time. They called the game of course and I drove home - two miles from the park it was dry as a bone.

Best thing Talladega has going for it is the banking...use the jet dryers on the flat parts and evaporation can do the job otherwise. Should take an hour as long as the rain really stops all the way.
 
Maybe Montoya can just take over as flag man, as far as my jet dryer racing goes. I hadnt considered his racism and hatred towards jet dryers.
 
Is Mikey out of the race or is he doing an appearance - he'll probably sell furniture in the stands too.
 
This would be a good time for the booth to take questions from TV viewers. It would take up their extra time and keep people tuned in to see if their question is on TV.
