Any questions?

Are they going to be back with ford next yr? Is brad coming back? Who was going to drive the second xfinity car they never came about?

Question 1 no way Ford is going to let them change manufacturers they've done too much for them in the past few seasons even with Stewart-Haas as an addition question 2 Brad Penske Miller excetera are finalizing contract details should be announced later this summer question 3 if sponsorship comes about they will add as many cars as financially advised

I wish I were as sure about all that as you, but I'm not.

I think it is quite likely that Penske and Kez get a contract extension done, but it is not certain. As for Miller, I would not be surprised if they leave Nascar at the end of the year. I hope they stay, but there is new corporate ownership and all that acquisition debt to service... so it's not done until it is done. And a contract extension announcement is half a year overdue. That could be due to loss of Miller sponsorship.

What about ford? I heard Chevy is trying to get Penske?
Please describe where or how you heard that. First-hand from an insider... or some citizen tweeted it... or something in between?

I have been waiting since SHR announced their Ford deal to see what response comes from Chevrolet. So far, nothing. Going after Penske would not be surprising. Chevy standing pat would not surprise me either. If rumors of Dodge's return prove out, standing pat may not be an option... due to rumors that Childress or Ganassi may hook up with Dodge.

Your first post with the three questions had two really good ones IMO. Ford? Keselowski? As for the Xfinity non-starter, I think that just shows how tough the sponsorship environment is right now. Just my $0.02.

I heard that at Daytona in a bar during the 500 week. I'm a Keselowski fan and would like to see him remain in a ford. I have become a Penske fan and I remember on Reddit last yr they were talking about a second team. I've been lurking for a while and your post made me join to ask.

Hey, welcome to the board. If you are a Keselowski fan, we need you posting, not lurking! As for Ford or Chevy signing Penske, I'd guess that most people in a position to know anything about that are not talking about it in a bar. Like you, I hope Kez stays with Penske and with Ford... and with Miller too, that would be great.

Edit to add: Ford seems to have stepped up their racing support, while Chevy seems content. OTOH, we don't know what Chevy is doing behind the scenes and appearances can be deceiving.

Does anyone in here know if Ms August is still with Team Penske?

It would be hard for me to believe that Ford would let Penske slip to another manufacturer. That has been a great partnership thus far and with the addition of SHR they have enough fire power to go head to head with Chevy and Toyota. Money talks tho....

Has this "manufacturer change" idea actually come from somewhere? Seems like all this talk is based off a question that I'm not even sure was meant to be serious. Lol

Probably just my ignorance again but other than that billboard on the back, I don't see any difference between it and the #22 behind it.

oh ha ha ha man you guys are cracking me up. dinner on, billboard, you all have any more of em. :D

That spoiler is what they served Thanksgiving dinner on.
For who, all three Penske teams plus the Wood Brothers?

Eddie Gossage says the spoilers won't be used at TMS; they block 'Big Hoss'.

Harvick likes 'em; it's harder to tell when they've been shifted.

Had enough?

Nope looks the same, not impressed, and the hideous wind blocker on the rear deck looks out of place.
She will look just fine on the track, long, low and lean. The Mustang is an iconic car, so is the Camaro. Prius drivers won't get that.:p
The Grill you mean, the rest of the car looks nothing like a Camaro or a Mustang.

I'll agree the names are iconic. I don't see how the cars themselves can be called that. Icons remain the same; they don't change every 12 months. And there's the inevitable argument that the race cars don't look much like their showroom brothers, taillights and side scoops aside.

They are Nascars which have never been the same as manufactured cars
for over 30 years. Get with the program Charlie. :D

Doesn't mean they are Iconic, if nascar really wanted to make this a pony war they would make the cars look like ther real thing.
