i think the WC track record will be broke this year. i think it was a 181.018 set my Brett Bodine a few years ago.
kennys fast i hope he can start turn turn his bad luck around soon i don't blame M&Ms for leaving that team i hope they can find another one.
 
are they using the cushion walss there? i didnt hear anything about that. they are running at a good clip, looks like ford is in good shape. well, we'll see.
 
The SAFER system is in place. Intents are to leave it in place for the Brickyard 400 and throughout testing this week and next. No one has "tested" it yet in a WC car.

NASCAR held a safety meeting at Indy yesterday to share with all the teams present information they have regarding some features. Dirvers were commenting afterward that they did not notice the walls being there at all while driving.

Read some interestin stuff about the meeting, I'll try to find some details and post them. One of the things I remember is that tests on firesuits have found that a looser fitting suit is more effective protecting a driver than a tighter one. This seemed to surprise most of the drivers.
