I think blown tires are going to be an issue today. A tight car will exacerbate the issue.

I agree, I think blown engines will be another issue as well.

Lots of RPMs early in the pit cycles, and lots of practice milage logged.
I like Kenseth as a driver but the pole makes me wonder if the motor might be over tweaked in hopes of getting the win.
I could be wrong just speculation on my part

Every time they crank up the Toyota power the reliability goes out the window, the 20 team is rolling the dice IMO

Kenseth will try to jump out there and lead a lap for a point, and then fade back and ride it out would be my guess anyway. He just needs a good finish to stay in the hunt. Newman too.

The pressure and intensity of this Chase format is crazy. Even if the 24 finishes 2nd again today all it would take is an issue at PIR to knock them out.

nothing in the history of motorsports like it that I know of anyway, IROC was the closest I believe. Love it or hate it..it's on like donkey kong

I was looking at practice charts last night... Yeah quite a few drivers have logged 90+ laps since they unloaded, including some JGR and Hendrick cars. Yeeeeesh. I'm a bit nervous.

I disagree as they have no reason to push the issue to that extreme and if they were tinkering with the engines, the #18 & 11 would've been faster, IMO.

Two of the favorites for this one have to be Kyle Busch and Jimmie Johnson. Wouldn't hate it if either of those two win.

Gonna be have watch espn up on the computer while making calls to voters today, yeah I'm that guy, I'm sorry.

I would like to see Tony be a factor in the race, run in the top ten or better all day long.

Which is it?

Please tell me that's a photoshop. o_O Frustrates me that TMS has been trying to distance themselves from their metro anchor(s) lately.

Just so everybody knows, Fort Worth annexed TMS several years ago, and the city of "No Limits" does not exist.

Due to its location, "No Limits" would be a suburb of Fort Worth if it existed.

While I was super happy for Jr last week I was crushed that Jeff finished 2nd. Couldn't even bring myself to watch any NASCAR stuff all week.

The unincorporated town was built on 1,500 acres in north Fort Worth and prides itself on its speed limitless mile-and-a-half Main Street more commonly known as Texas Motor Speedway.
Welcome to No Limits, Texas – home to a hundred-plus full-time residents and hundreds of thousands of visitors annually making the pilgrimage to the fastest town in the West that was built to roar.

While the U.S. Census Bureau may not recognize No Limits, Texas, as a new city, town or village, all those who enter inside its city limits will be well aware they have arrived at the site of some of the wildest showdowns in the “wicked-fast” West.

Beginning today, Texas Motor Speedway and its vast acreage will transition into No Limits, Texas – a real place as well as a state-of-mind, with, of course, a Texas-sized attitude.

Emphasis on the census bureau not recognizing the existence of "No Limits."
