That didn't take long

I hope he is too. I was at Atlanta in 1998 when Grant Adcox died. They immediately covered his car with a tarp.

Patrick Sheltra has been rushed to an emergency room at Halifax Medical Center.

Those words sound too familiar. :( I hope he's alright.:(

That does not sound good.

When something like this happends it opens up the safety issue. We seen some horible crashes the last few years but people just walked out without a scratch and we think nothing about it. The accident today was another horible looking crash but this time the driver didnt walk away. I wish the best of luck to Patrick on what ever injurys he may have suffered, i hope none are life threatining. :(

I missed the race but that must have been some wreck.
There were several big wrecks  it was more like the Lucas Oil Slick Mist Demilition Derby 200 a few drivers got a little too impatient.

and it led to injuries.

I was at the motorplex when force nearly got killed. They covered his car with a tarp too the second he was out of it. ARCA didn't cover the car (that we know of).

but it was in the backstretch infield and backstretch grandstands were closed so it would've been impossible to see anything from the frontstretch or from the infield.

"Alert and councious" according to SPEED

It awas at the enterence to pit road, actually...

Now, 2 months until the next ARCA race.

No televised races until Rockingham. I think they need the break though lots and lots of wrecked up cars.

kenny/J.R. saying that Seltra's seat buckled, and Hollenbeck was awake and alert at last notice..both overnighting
