The 2023 HotDog Eating Contest; Will Joey Chestnut win a 16th championship.

Is Joey Chestnut the most underated athlete ever. The Hot Dog GOAT will be going for a record 16th Mustard Belt. Not sure if hd can surpass his own record of eating 76 Hot Dogs in 10 minutes, he is 39 years old but he is still probably good enough to win. He has dominated Major League Eating for years.

Ruth, Brady, Lebron James or Micheal Jordan none of them ever dominated their sport like Chestnut.

What could have been if Kobayashi's career killing jaw arthritis had never been an issue.

How much methane is expelled as a result of these exhibitions of gluttony?

Either come up with a zero emissions wiener or cancel the event! I’ve had enough!

The Professional Eaters will be wearing pollution filters to manage their exhaust (Assalactic Converters).

Joey will win again because Joey is king
Chestnutt has an engineering degree which probably has helped him design a good stretching and hot dog stacking innards training program. World class athletes.

Chestnuts performance in 2022 was one of the most heroic moments in sports. The man entered the arena on crutches with a ruptured leg tendon but he still ate 63 Hot Dogs in ten minutes to add to his historical total of 15 championships in spite of being a wounded man.

Almost anyone else in the world would have been proud of the performance but it had to be personally upsetting for such an accomplished professional eater like Chestnut.

The best professional eaters have their artistic moves during the competition. Personally I think Kobayashi had the most charismatic and artistic moves but Chestnut definitely is the most efficient.

Those moves have to help them pack the food down tightly to the Large and Small Intestines, the Stomach and all the way to the esophagus just short of regurgitation. Chestnut's injury obviously created some limitations.

The man is 39 years old now but he is healthy and he probably has something to prove. The world knows it too and is buzzing over the possibility of seeing an 80 Hot Dog performance

The professional eaters will face off today for all the glory at 12 pm EST to see who can eat the most hot dogs within 10 minutes.

A whole hot dog and bun 'HDB' must be consumed to receive a full point. However, partially-eaten HDBs are also counted in eighths

Utensils cannot be used

Water is provided, but other non-alcoholic beverages are allowed
Hot dogs and buns can be dipped into a beverage, but for no longer than five seconds

Keep it classy and dignified: Sloppy eating will result in a yellow card warning, two yellow cards will result in a disqualification.

- Chipmunking: eaters can pack their mouths full during the final seconds before the 10 minute clock expires, they can still swallow the food already in their mouth after the 10 minute clock expires.

If a competitor has a reversal (vomits) they are disqualified. Judges are on hand to montior and ensure no food debri from the stomach is present.

For the professionals only: Competitors who vomit risk aspirating or tearing the lining of their esophagus.

People have died during eating competitions. In 2017, a 20-year-old college student died after choking during a pancake-eating contest. That same year, a 42-year-old man asphyxiated during a donut eating contest.

According to this link Chestnutt could beat a grizzly bear in the contest.
I think he could beat Big Foot as well in a 10 min contest.

Chestnut eats 62 ,"HDB' to win the men's contest

Miki Sudo wins the wimmins.contest with a total of 39.5 'HDB'.
Mayoi Ebihara, 27 devoured 33.5 hot dogs and buns to finish in second place.

Is Chestnut and Sudo past their primes. Who will fill their stomachs in the future?

Ebihara didn't win but she probably had the most charisma with her eating rythem. She probably inspired many little girls today.
