So this will be a sequel to the original. I know I'm about the only one who liked the 1999 version.

I thought it OK. TBH I thought they had already made a sequel.

I'm always a little leery of sequels that are made many years after the original, most of the time they're terrible. "Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull" and "Dumb and Dumber To" can attest to that.
