Sauter tried blocking and forced another vehicle below the double yellow line.
He, Sauter, also went below the yellow line completely to block the pass, that's what did it.
If we are going to have the rule then they did the right thing enforcing the rule.
Should be totally legal on the last lap...called going for the win, whether blocking or bumping...it is part and parcel of what made NASCAR.
Whether it should be or not, it wasn't legal at the time. The rules must be enforced as they're currently written, not as they should be written in the future or were in the past.
