The final running of the Kroger 200

What was the key to doing it? It's called slamming someone and pushing him all the way up to the wall almost.

He did slam Stenhouse in the wall.

I like this type of racing, it's just a shame the Cup regulars now have to resort to putting Nationwide regulars in the wall if they can't beat them.

Who's ready for the glorified parade, single file train race next year in the NASCAR Nationwide Series at The Brickyard? :beerbang::beerbang:

That was a wild finish. I was hoping Stenhouse would of won that.

Nice win Brad! Way to drive a guy the way he drives you.

Ricky ran Brad all the way to the wall to take the high line on the 5 lap restart, and Brad let up to avoid being run into the wall. Brad ran Ricky up on that last restart, but Ricky didn't give the way Brad did. It was minor contact, as evidenced by the slightly damaged right side of Brads car. Ricky left a lot more damage on the left side of Brads car, but nobody wrecked the other guy.

GREAT short track racing...and I think Elliot got screwed, unless there is some kind of '1 to go' rule that keeps everyone in line if someone falls out.

Add: I got the facts on the rule. When a car drops out after the 1 to go is given , they don't reshuffle the cars, the lines just move up. NASCAR got it right. It makes sense, since they don't reshuffle the cars when someone drops down late to go to the pits, are someone is black flagged after 1 to go. They would waste a lot of time having everyone changing lanes again and again.

This is a rule that needs to be changed. Brad Keselowski was literally given a free position, and won the race as a result.

:bsflag:

Jennifer Jo Cobb IS NOT a start and park driver, she's there to run the whole race because she's a quality driver!

The rule needs to change because Brad won? What kind of philosophy is that? I'm not sure Brad wouldn't have won anyway. Did you see how bad Elliots restarts were? I doubt Elliot would move if Ricky tried running him up the track the way he did Brad, and Brad was good enough to take advantage.

Interesting stat from Twitter.

2009, final Nationwide race at Memphis: Winner - Brad Keselowski
2010, final Nationwide race at Gateway: Winner - Brad Keselowski
2011, final Nationwide race at Raceway Park: Winner - Brad Keselowski

(A stat that the team is celebrating, they're the only ones celebrating two great tracks closing)

Cup driver wrecks a couple Nationwide regulars to win!

Sadler has a point.

Brad should've thanked NASCAR for giving him two positions.

Wow, what race were u watching. Not one of those things happened.

Hope the Cup race exceeds all expectations on the big track that we all expected here on the short track.
