The Following

I'm not as crazy about this show as some people. I like most of the actors and I love Edgar Allen Poe. I mean, I like the show better than most other shows on tv right now, but I can't escape the feeling that it could just be better than it is. You know what I mean?

I really only have one problem with the show. The bad guys are far too smart and the cops are far too dumb. It seems like every episode ends with the bad guy getting one over on everyone. I'm hoping this is building up for the payoff at the end of the season with Joe getting caught or killed. Otherwise it's gonna get boring.

Man, I just watched Monday's episode last night and that was pretty strange. Especially the part where the guy wanted Joe to kill him so that his life would mean something.

There are certain things that just bug me about the show. Sometimes I think it is really good, but other times I'm just frustrated with how stupid some of their actions are. Like this week, for example. Their entire goal at one point is getting Joey back. So they get him back and Ryan tells the other guy to take him into another room and protect him. So he takes him into another room and leaves him there, like "oh, you should be fine in here while there are people trying to kill us and re-kidnap you". It just doesn't make any sense, and there are things like this fairly often in the writing.

Beats the hell out of any sitcom, though :)
I would have to say that is true. Although there are two sit-coms that I watch when I am in the mood or when I only have a half hour or so to watch something. Go On and Last Man Standing are pretty good.

Yeah the Cops are just so stupid on this show. That being said it's still the best new show on TV and I'm happy we get at least one more season of it.

I wouldn't go that far. Bates motel is freaking awesome! Hannibal is pretty good so far as well.

Mot yet. Seen previews but that's all.
It's kinda weird, but really, really good. It's basically a modern story of Norman Bates as a teenager. Lots of psycological stuff with his relationship with his mom, but there is a lot of action and other story lines as well. Very intense. They still show the earlier episodes, for those who want to catch up, on A&E.

Wow. I was wondering how they'd continue it to another season. Maybe it wasn't the 'Last Chapter' after all?

No way that was the end of Joe. If it was, that was kind of a letdown.
I'd have to agree. As soon as the Ryan turned around and left him there to die I thought "there is no way they will ever find a body and this story will just continue on forever".

That and part of his following live on.
True. Emma is scarier than Joe ever was in my view. That is one crazy, hot, psycho chick. She can be more manipulative than he could. You had to be more than a little nuts for Joe to have any influence on you at all. A woman can make a lot of normal men do some pretty abnormal things.

I am now frightened of all short haired thin women.
